“No tradition could ever possibly die (or be forgotten) until the last person who honors it dies.”

Many people find themselves attracted to the traditions of the Celts. These traditions go back 2,900 years. Pilgrimages to sacred sites are becoming more and more popular. More and more people are becoming interested in living a lifestyle that is in harmony with nature and with our environment. I am publishing my studies here on this website. The main purpose of publishing my writings online is to provide people with the information about Celtic culture. I enjoy sharing the ancient knowledge of a people who are ecologically aware and in tune with nature. My most sincere hope is to inspire a connection with one's ancestors, with whom we are rooted to and come from nature.
Traditional people of
Celtic ancestry (and others) are trying to re-learn the ancient wisdom and spirituality of the Celts. We dedicate our website to providing as much information as possible. We hope all you will discover
Celtic spirituality through history, myth, poetry, dance, music, and ecological awareness.
Today, there are groups who label themselves as Celtic Reconstructionists. They reconstruct rituals, festivals and conventions. They also provide study courses. Our approach is less formal. We hope to encourage deep spiritual understanding that is rooted within nature. We hope to inspire respect for the land, and the protection of our Earth.

Clans of the Earth Life Traditon - Book
The information on this site is from Shane Clark's book "Clans of the Earth Life Tradition. It is being published on this site before it is published as a normal book. Although you may find some fantacy text on this site (as seen below) it was purely written for enjoyment and not to be taken literally... but poeticly.
What more is life than magic? ...it is a logical pursuit of dreams and aspirations.
The Clans of the Earth Life Tradition is a book which recognizes all forms of Deity as kin, not beholder. Because, as kin we take to heart the wisdom, knowledge, and lessons, our stories bring as they are shared through their legacy. Celtic symbols are used as association and their mythology as lessons. In general, it is recommended that one learns of one's own ancestral gods, though other lessons are also learned through association to other heritages and learning other cultures practises and beliefs.
No-one is expected to believe any abstract or positive principle in the order to continue with its practical teachings and benefits. Instead, the book encourages people to refrain from accepting anything on faith, or adapting a principle before it has been demonstrated to be the truth, or found through personal experience to be true. Such things may be set aside without interfering with one's ability to learn and live a proper life. Organizations, who expect one to accept their doctrines greatly, interfere with the freedom of the individuals thinking. This is much the same as high-pressure salesmanship or superstitious doctrine (fear propaganda) to 'scare' one into buying their idea. Our teaching relies on no such propaganda of this kind.
Clans of the Earth Life Tradition have no secret oaths, no secret channels, or ulterior motives, nor does it have officers or members who hide in secrecy. It is simply a series of writings that were written to help others understand Celtic information.
As for religion: The book does not constitute as a form of religion; nothing is ever asked from a person, or expected from a person to believe. It is simply writing about the Celts by a Celtic scolar (Shane Clark).
The Clans of the Earth Life Tradition takes no definite stand in regard to any religious doctrines of any religious organization or movement. Through the moral standards the author (Shane Clark) implores to live rightly, to serve one’s fellow kin, and lead a useful life.
This book contains a review of the Druids of Old. This does not mean that the Clans of the Earth Life Tradition follow any guidelines set by any ancient order of druids, but simply derived many ideas from this fascinating culture and formed them into a modern, acceptable, unique way of life.
