Celticism [Celtic Traditions]
Celticism is about finding inspiration, deep in one’s ancient roots. It draws of oneself energy through its one’s own current evolution and growth and into a most clear of modern spirituality. There are no scriptures except in the landscape within, in which the culture thrives.

Celticism leaves the individual free to explore one’s own relationships with the inner and outer environment.

Celtic traditions are a very loyally focused tradition. It is the spirits of the environment directly around in which one turns to and honors, for these are the most important relationships. However, Celt’s do not loose global focus.

The ritual place where Celts celebrate the powers of creation more often than not has a floor of grass, a leaf mound, or the sand or rock of Mother Earth; while the ceiling is the sky above, the clouds, stars and moon symbolize be the sanctuary considered more absolute.

Celticism

Soul to soul, through the warmth of interaction, Celts are able to find the courage for our journey.

Celts respect the land, live upon it and allow nature to guide and teach them. We teach that humans belong to the community of all life.

As a spirituality that allows us to connect to the land, our ancestors, and our sacred heritage, bringing the brilliance of spirit into the natural world, it validates the reality of our existence, enabling us to perceive new depths of beauty, strength and renewal. It offers a deeply affirming spiritual philosophy with which each individual can utilize to affirm one's own perception of reality rather than become entrapped by someone else’s.

Instead of focusing upon past events and myths, the Celtic tradition celebrates individuality and the uniqueness of each soul's experience and growth. Perfect equality is essential in teaching, as is perfect tolerance.

Celticism is more complex than purely pagan traditions, for it is a spiritual philosophy which can be used despite ones practices in their personal preference of religion. It strives to listen to the earth and the ancestors, recognizing them as teachers.

Honor the land and the ancestors as aspects of sacred creation, i.e. aspects of the source.

Inner

The inner practise of Celticism is the internal energy and practice of an individual Celt. We are all of equal spirit, eternally connected. It is the path of deep inner healing.

Outer
The outer practise of Celticism refers to Celtic ways, custom and/or idiom. It is out of fondness for Celtic Culture.
